Topping is a well-known name among budget-oriented hi-fi users. They have announced their latest budget Desktop DAC priced at $129 – Topping E30.
Technical Specifications:
– AK4493 DAC chip
– Supports PCM up to 32 bit / 768 kHz, DSD up to DSD512 natively, DSD over DoP up to DSD256
– THD+N: 0.0003 %.
– Crosstalk < -130 dB
– Signal to Noise Ratio: 121 dB
– Dynamic Range: 119 dB
As usual with all Topping products E30 measures well, but I hope to put the real sonic performance of the DAC to the test when it becomes available.
